Chicago Dogs come from behind to defeat

After a frustrating Game 2 loss on Wednesday, the Chicago Dogs came back with some fire in their hearts on Thursday. Not once, not twice, but three times did the Dogs give up a lead only to come back and tie it in the next half inning, with the final blow coming in the ninth, giving Chicago a 7-6 w over the Milwaukee Milkmen in in comeback fashion.

The Dogs needed just three pitchers in the series finale, with both relievers going multiple innings. Andres Diaz was spectacular through four of the five innings he tossed, as he headed into the fifth without giving up a run.

Unfortunately, Milwaukee scored four, three of which were earned, and that spelled the end of the day for Diaz. He struck out four in his five innings of work.

Cade Herrmann gave up just one run in two innings, striking out one, and Dominic Guzman struck out four in his two innings, allowing one run on no hits and two walks. He earned the win in this back-and-forth affair.
