The city of Des Plaines hosts its final Food Truck Round Up of the summer on Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Library Plaza, 1501 Ellinwood St.

Grab a bite to eat from the food trucks, draw on the chalk wall, and enjoy live music by Griffin Crowder beginning at 5:30 p.m. Limited picnic table seating is available, and attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs.

Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed/harnessed and are always under a handler's control. There is a maximum of two dogs per handler.

The food truck lineup will be: My Funnel Truck, Rep's Place, Tievoli Pizza, Travelin' Tom's Coffee, Zhel's Kitchen, and Happy Lobster (card and mobile payments only).

You may experience longer wait times at popular event. Food service ends at 8 p.m. Trucks may cutoff their queue lines to ensure those in line are served before the event ends. Menus and dietary restrictions listed on this website are subject to change.

There will be composting and recycling bins available. Visit the Sustainability Station where you can sort your food scraps, napkins, soda cans, and more into the appropriate bins!

In addition to the food truck lineup, Wing Stop and Jimmy John's are located at Library Plaza and will be open for business.

The artisans and exhibitors include: Art Worth Sharing, Handmade by Jacki, Snackified, Soapie Squad, Refreshingly Bold Creations, Lolli-Lyn's Confectionary, and more.

Parking is available at the Des Plaines Public Library garage, Metropolitan Square parking garage, and the Civic Center garage. Accessible parking spots are available in the garages as well as on Ellinwood Street, just east of the library. Please enter the library parking garage at the intersection of East Prairie Avenue and Center Street (located at 1448 E. Prairie Ave.).

Due to event road closures, vehicles cannot access the library parking garage from Ellinwood St.

Please note that road closures and parking restrictions will begin on Ellinwood on Tuesday, August 18, at 11 a.m. to allow for set up. Ellinwood will reopen at the conclusion of the event.
