Issue with ICE is transparency

The media likes to extol every mistake by ICE enforcement. Admittedly, some have had very bad consequences, but ICE agents do have a very difficult job which is made even tougher and more dangerous when local police do not assist.

That said, the administration does owe us an update on the results of its efforts. If in fact the majority of the dangerous illegal immigrants have already been deported, then maybe it's time to back off enforcement a little. If not, what are the plans to locate and deport the remaining bad actors?

Keeping the public in the dark just gives critics more ammunition. So, it's time for more disclosure, especially given the approaching mid-term elections.
