Villa Park hosts Big Rigs & Kids Aug. 22

Villa Park is hosting “Big Rigs & Kids” from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 22, on Ardmore and Park Boulevard, next to the Illinois Prairie Path.

Check out a variety of vehicles from village departments, including fire trucks, police vehicles, construction equipment, and more.

This event allows kids and adults to get up close, climb around the vehicles, meet the people who operate them, and learn about the important services they provide to the community.

A sensory-friendly experience with limited lights and sirens will be offered from 10 to 10:30 a.m.
