Rolling Meadows Park District hosts free Back-to-School Bash

Spend an evening savoring the last days of summer with Rolling Meadows Park District’s Back-to-School Bash from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Florey Park, 3300 Campbell St.

The free event features live music, face painting, inflatables, a visit from the Kona Ice truck, and a variety of outdoor games and activities.

The Back-to-School Bash is an ideal way to enjoy the end of summer and make great memories, said Sydney Szukala, recreation supervisor for special Events and Community Engagement.

“As the summer season winds down and kids start heading back to their school routines, we wanted to give the community a fun weeknight celebration,” Szukala said. “This is a great way for families to connect and unwind as we gear up for fall.”
