Geneva to replace electrical cables in 2 neighborhoods
Geneva is replacing underground electrical cables along Miller Road and in the Blackberry neighborhood starting Aug. 24.
It will happen Aug. 24 to Sept. 4 on Miller east of Lewis Road; Sept. 7 to Oct. 2 on Wakefield Lane north of Williamsburg Avenue; Oct. 5 to 30 on Clover Lane; Nov. 2 to Nov. 13 on Paddock Court; and Nov. 16 to Dec. 4 on Cambridge Drive from Williamsburg to Clover.
Electrical transformers, pedestals and street lights also will be replaced.
The city will send notices of service disruptions when homes need to be connected to the new equipment.
