South Barrington police nab 36 drivers for speeding

The South Barrington Police Department’s July traffic safety enforcement campaign resulted in 36 speeding tickets, police announced Wednesday.

Additionally, three people were ticketed for not properly wearing seat belts, one was ticketed for driving with a suspended or revoked license and one was ticketed for distracted driving. One person was arrested on a warrant, too.

Departments across Illinois staged similar safety campaigns last month.
