Pingree Grove named among Illinois’ Best Managed Cities by Business View Magazine

The village of Pingree Grove was featured in the July 2026 issue of Business View Magazine as part of the publication’s “Best Managed Cities: Illinois” coverage.

The feature, “A Charming Village Poised for Growth, Building Tomorrow While Preserving Community,” highlights Pingree Grove’s remarkable growth, thoughtful planning, and continued investment in infrastructure, economic development, recreation, and quality of life.

Once a small rural community, Pingree Grove has become one of Illinois’ notable growth stories while remaining focused on preserving the character and sense of community that residents value.

“This recognition is something our entire community can be proud of,” said Village President Amber Kubiak. “Pingree Grove’s success is rooted in our residents, our local businesses, and a shared commitment to building a welcoming, connected, and vibrant village for generations to come.”

The article points to several village priorities, including revitalization of the Heritage District, expanded multi-use paths, major water and wastewater infrastructure investments, new commercial opportunities along Route 47, diverse housing options, and expanded parks and recreation amenities.

Village Manager Andy Ferrini said the feature reflects the intentional work taking place across Pingree Grove. “We are planning for growth in a way that strengthens services, supports residents, and positions Pingree Grove for long-term success,” Ferrini said. “It is exciting to see that work recognized beyond our community.”

The village encourages residents, businesses, and community partners to read the feature and celebrate this milestone as Pingree Grove continues to honor its history while investing in its future.
