Volunteers wanted for paper-shredding event in South Barrington

Volunteers are needed to help operate a document shredding event scheduled for Sept. 5 in South Barrington.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon outside the police station, 30 Barrington Road.

Volunteers must be able to lift 20 pounds. They should also be friendly and willing to help residents. Volunteers can work for the entire event or choose one-hour shifts.
