Schaumburg Township Republican Organization to hold annual picnic Aug. 2

The Schaumburg Township Republican Organization will hold its annual Member and Community Picnic from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at The Grove at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 202 E. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg.

The picnic will feature classic American fare, including burgers, hot dogs, salads, desserts and ice cream. Attendees can also enjoy music, tours of the 1872 Historic Centre School and other activities. State and local Republican candidates are expected to attend.

Registration and payment by midnight Thursday at STGOP.org under “Events” are required to receive the discounted rate: $10 for members, $15 for non-members and $25 for families.
