Palatine accepting applications for Citizen Police Academy

The Palatine Police Department is now accepting applications for its 2026 Citizen Police Academy.

The 12-week academy will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Sept. 1 through Nov. 17. It offers residents a behind-the-scenes look at modern policing while providing opportunities to interact with the officers who serve the community.
