Fear stoking citizenship debate

The discussion about birthright citizenship amazes me. The bottom line is about what Hugh Brady mentioned in a letter on July 14 titled “White supremacists using new tactics.”

You can just add Hispanics and Asians. While Obama was president in 2010, the U.S. Census folks came out and said by 2030, which is 4 years away from today, two out of three babies born in America will be classified as non-white. They also said that this will happen no matter what.

My feelings are, who cares?

For Donald Trump, Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon and the Christian nationalist churches this is terrifying, perfectly explained by Hugh Brady. This is why Trump has legal secret police running around shooting and arresting people who look like they are changing the white face of America. This tactic is extremely stupid and illegal, and a lot of people that read this newspaper accept it as saving their facial complexion.

These white supremacists are insurgents from the Civil War era, standing behind the Christian faith. There is nothing Christian about white supremacy.
