Food Truck Round Up happening Tuesday in Des Plaines

Des Plaines’ latest Food Truck Round Up is set for Tuesday, July 21, at Metropolitan Square, 633 Metropolitan Way.

The gathering will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. In addition to mobile chefs serving up food, the band 28 Days will play live music.

Limited picnic tables will be available. Attendees can bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.

Participating food trucks will include Avocado Theory, Cousins Maine Lobster, El Zorro Tacos and Rita’s Italian Ice.

A final Food Truck Round Up is scheduled for Aug. 18 at Library Plaza, 1501 Ellinwood St.
