Palatine police arrest Buffalo Grove man on drug charges
A Buffalo Grove man was found with cocaine and fentanyl after a traffic stop in Palatine, authorities said.
Noah B. Karpman, 30, is charged with unlawful possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of cocaine and fentanyl. He is also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a peace officer.
Karpman was released Saturday pending trial. He is next scheduled to appear in court Aug. 11.
Police said Palatine officers stopped him for a traffic violation at about 9 p.m. Friday near East Dundee Road and North Baldwin Road.
Officers recovered the drugs and paraphernalia from Karpman, who was driving, police said.
Karpman physically resisted before officers took him into custody, police said.
