Six decades of pop hits at Naper Nights on July 17-18

Get ready to rock out at Naper Nights as the Naper Settlement’s 13-acre site transforms into a one-of-a-kind concert backdrop with food and beverages from local restaurants, a free children’s area, and more on July 17-18.

The nation’s top tribute performances will take the Naper Nights stage to perform the ultimate tributes to ZZ Top, The Doobie Brothers, pop music from The Beatles to Bruno Mars, and a K-pop dance party featuring hits from K-pop Demon Hunters, BLACKPINK, and more.

Naper Nights is slated from 5 to 10 p.m. both nights on the museum grounds, 523 S. Webster St. Each night will open with local students from the School of Rock playing their favorites on stage beginning at 5 p.m.

Friday night

Enjoy The Doobie Brothers’ signature sound and all the classic hits such as “Listen to the Music,” “Long Train Runnin’,” “China Grove,” and “Takin’ It to the Streets” performed by The Doobie Others on Friday from 8 to 10 p.m.

Eliminator will open the night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. with a ZZ Top tribute featuring iconic fur-covered guitars and full replica stage attire.

Saturday night

On Saturday from 8-10 p.m., music fans of all ages are invited to a night of pop music history as singer-songwriter Dylan Chambers performs generational hits spanning six decades, featuring music from The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Hall & Oates, Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, and more.

Visitors can dance the night away with DLC: DANCE as they kick off the night from 6-7:30 p.m. with a K-pop dance party featuring hits from K-pop Demon Hunters, BLACKPINK, TWICE, IU, and BTS.

Naper Settlement will celebrate the community by offering local cuisine from a variety of vendors including Craft Urban, Billy Bricks, Ben & Jerry’s (July 18 only), Chick-fil-A, Jersey Mike’s, Hello Boba, and Grumpy Gaucho.

There will be beer selections from Alter Brewing Company, wine selections from Rodney Strong Vineyards, and canned cocktails including Lipton Hard Iced Tea and Riki Tequila Seltzer.

A children’s area with activities provided by Pinot's Palette and Chasers Laser Tag will also be on site.

Each night, all tips collected at the beverage tents benefit a local organization. Tips on Friday benefit ALMAS — Alliance of Latinos Motivating Action in the Suburbs, and Saturday’s tips will go to the Naperville American Legion Post 43.

Naper Nights tickets are $25 or $15 for youth, ages 4 to 12. Naper Settlement members and children under age 4 receive complimentary admission. For more information and tickets, visit NaperNights.org.
