Wheeling police to boost patrols to reduce speeding

Wheeling police are stepping up efforts to reduce speeding in town.

The department has announced that patrols will be increased this month to catch speeders and other scofflaws.

It’s part of a statewide mission involving more than 200 local law enforcement agencies as well as Illinois State Police troopers and the Illinois Department of Transportation.
