Trickster has much to offer

I live in Roselle and I often vote at Trickster. I love looking at the exhibits and art there every time and other times when I’m not voting. Our Indigenous communities have been pushed around often enough, and I think Schaumburg’s deal with them for having the museum speaks of a better, welcoming spirit. This speaks well of Schaumburg as a community.

As a close neighbor, I don’t think it will reflect well on Schaumburg to push them out in favor of a historic exhibit which favors history that I would expect will be white-settler oriented. Is that repeat of a blot on our history really what you want Schaumburg to project? I am more interested in learning about our Indigenous neighbors and Trickster has taught me a lot.
