Two injured in Lombard house fire

Two people were injured in a fire Wednesday night at a house in the 100 block of South Third Avenue in Lombard.

The Lombard Fire Department said it was called to the scene around 11:45 p.m. The people had evacuated before firefighters arrived.

Firefighters doused the fire in about 15 minutes. Damage to the house is estimated at $20,000. The cause was not given.
