South Elgin house damaged by gunshots

South Elgin police are investigating the shooting of a house at 10:14 p.m. Thursday.

It happened in the 1300 block of North Lancaster Road.

Nobody was injured, according to a news release.

Several people called police to report gunshots being fired and seeing someone with a gun. The people involved were gone by the time police arrived.
