Fight age bias

The July 6 letter by Barbara Bodnarchuk was correct. The last state besides Illinois that had the driver test based on age had to remove the law after being sued. They stated it was discrimination against seniors and was unlawful, and they removed the law.

The only way to have the law in Illinois revoked is to get the politicians to remove it. Illinois politicians will not do it unless someone sues. The law needs to be removed, not have the age discrimination raised to an older age. I urge all seniors to contact their local politicians and state representatives to tell them you do not want to be discriminated against.
