Community initiative provides free swim lessons for kids in Hoffman Estates

The Friends of HEParks Foundation is proud to announce the launch of Swim for All, a new community-funded initiative designed to ensure every child has access to essential, life-saving water safety skills.

The Swim for All initiative is made possible entirely through charitable donations and foundation fundraising events, including the upcoming Dolphin Derby, which will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Seascape Family Aquatic Center.

The Dolphin Derby is a fun, fast-paced event where community members can sponsor toy dolphins to race down the course.

Proceeds from the event directly support the Friends of HEParks foundation, helping fund vital recreational opportunities like the Swim for All program. Residents can get involved by sponsoring a single dolphin for $5 or a “Flipper Fleet” of five dolphins for $20.
