Play American trivia at Des Plaines Public Library

To commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary, the Des Plaines Public Library will host a trivia contest all about the U.S. on July 17.

The free, adults-only event is set for 7 p.m. at the library, 1501 Ellinwood St.

Topics will include the presidents, national parks and the Wild West.

Registration is required. People can sign up solo or in teams of up to six players.
