Rosie and the Rivets to perform outdoor concert in Elgin July 16
Rosie and the Rivets will bring their retro rock 'n' roll tribute show to the Hanover Township Izaak Walton Reserve outdoor amphitheater at 899 Jay Street in Elgin at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 16.
The group is known for performing the best music of the ‘50s and early ‘60s along with contemporary music with a retro twist.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting youth programming. Da Pizza Company food truck will also be on site.
Limited parking is available. Attendees are encouraged to utilize the off-site parking available at Huff Elementary School, 801 Hastings Street in Elgin.
Big Brothers Vinyl, a high energy combination of rock and blues, featuring dual guitar driven classics from the ‘60s and beyond, will play at the reserve at 7 p.m. Aug. 13.
