Seigle Foundation awards education grants to 12 local nonprofits, including Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley

Seigle Foundation recently announced the award of education grants to the following charities: Alignment Collaborative for Education, Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley, Enriching Partnerships for Early Learning, Kids Above All Illinois, Summit School Inc., Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Illinois, Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Illinois, The Literacy Connection, Farmworker and Landscaper Advocacy Project, Three Fires Council — Scouting America, U-46 Educational Foundation, and Elgin Public Museum.

Theresa Forthofer, president and CEO Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley, stated “THANK YOU to the Seigle Foundation for being the link that made progress possible for Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley. Their support helped eliminate barriers for families and made it possible for children with developmental disabilities in our communities to achieve milestones that once felt out of reach.”

The foundation is committed to high quality education opportunities that prepare young people in the Elgin and Dundee area for success in their lives and career. This work may include (but is not limited to) early childhood education, K-12 programming, after school programs and community colleges.
