Palatine taking nominations for Hometown Pride Awards

Palatine's Beautification Commission is accepting nominations for the 2026 Hometown Pride Awards that recognize properties with attractive landscaping and exceptional curb appeal.

Entries are evaluated based on overall appearance, design, maintenance, color and diversity.

A new category for this year is “Native Plants & Pollinators,” which will recognize properties with landscaping that focuses on native plants, pollinator-friendly plants and butterfly gardens.
