Thirsty Thursday returns to Lake Ellyn Boathouse with music, beer and wine

The Glen Ellyn Park District's popular Thirsty Thursday on the Deck series continues this July with two evenings of lakeside relaxation, live music, and drinks at the Lake Ellyn Boathouse, 645 Lenox Road in Glen Ellyn. Guests ages 21 and older are invited to join the fun on Thursdays, July 9 and 23, from 6 to 9 p.m.

On July 9, enjoy a performance by Side Project, featuring a mix of pop, rock, and folk favorites. Then return on July 23 for Mickey O'Brien and Friends, bringing R&B-inspired pop with a modern groove.

At both events, guests can enjoy craft beer and wine available for purchase from The Beer Cellar. Light snacks will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own food for a casual, picnic-style atmosphere.

Registration for each event is $20 per person; it includes your first drink ticket. A portion of the proceeds will support the Glen Ellyn Parks Foundation, helping fund scholarships and park improvements throughout the community.
