Enjoy food, rides, music and more at Mundelein Community Days July 2-5
Mundelein Community Days brings carnival rides, fireworks, food, music, a parade and more to Mundelein's Courtland Commons Park, at the corner of Seymour and Courtland, Thursday through Sunday, July 2-5.
The theme for the 2026 Mundelein Community Days Parade will be “Salute to America — Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom.” The parade will step off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, at Mundelein High School, and will proceed east on Hawley Street, south on Seymour Avenue and east on Division Street, ending at the Metra Station.
The Mundelein Munch will offer food from local vendors, including: Bill's Pizza & Pub, Brothers BBQ 4 U, Chicago Ramen, Cin-Teas-Boba, El Sazon de Edmar, Frozen Dreamz, Gabby's Funnel Cakes, Lee Concessions, Luke's of Mundelein, Pop's Pizza, Prime Beef, Supermercado Giselle, and Tamales Diana. The Munch will run from 4-10 p.m. Thursday, Noon to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and Noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Main Stage entertainment includes Feel Good Party Band at 5 p.m., DJ Vince Magsino at 7 p.m. and Mike and Joe at 8 p.m. Thursday; Breakfast Club at 5 p.m. and Disco Circus at 8:30 p.m. Friday; The Four C Notes at 5 p.m. and Judson Brown at 8:30 p.m. Saturday; and Petty Kings at 3 p.m. and Soda at 6 p.m. Sunday.
The carnival, sponsored By American Legion Post 867, will run from 5-10 p.m. Thursday, 2-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
Other planned activities include fire engine rides, bingo, a jalapeno eating contest hosted by El Barrio and H&H Productions at 7 p.m. Friday, a pet parade and cute pet tricks at 9 a.m. Saturday, car show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, hot dog eating contest hosted by Luke's of Mundelein and H&H Productions at 7 p.m. Saturday, fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, pancake breakfast hosted by Mundelein Fire Association from 7-11 a.m. Sunday, K9 Demonstration at 11 a.m. Sunday, hot wing eating contest hosted by Park Street Restaurant and H&H Productions at 5 p.m. Sunday and more.
