Blame Obama for toxic political culture

My response to fearful Betty Braun is this:

There never would have been a President Trump if there had not been a President Obama.

President Trump is merely restoring our traditional America and rescuing it from the extreme Obama governance. Before Obama, friends and extended family enjoyed stimulating political discussions, exchanging varied views and learning from each other. No more — hostile politics has permeated everything — sports, film, education, religion, entertainment, travel, opera etc.

Our political leaders used to debate and then come together for the betterment of the country. No more — today Congress is a war zone. President Obama’s governance was “You lose. We win.”

Why do we have this Iran war now? Obama’s nuclear deal gave Iran billions to fund terror —- Groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. Iran has terrorized the Western world for decades and no other president has dared to stand up and say, “No more.”

Obama policies ignored U.S. law and opened our U.S. border which created the impossible burdens of homelessness, crime, decline in education and health care. And most critical, we lost our national identity. President Trump has merely followed U.S. law, secured the border and fulfilled his promise to voters.

Finally, Obama, the first Black president did not unite America. He erased all the gains of the civil rights movement. Instead of a colorblind society, we are more racially divided than ever.

President Trump has sacrificed comfort and wealth to serve his country. Obama has done nothing to better the lives of Black communities, especially his own Chicago. He just talks and gets wealthy.
