Chicago Dogs edge Lake Country in high-scoring game in Rosemont

The Chicago Dogs defeated the Lake Country DockHounds 14-13 in dramatic fashion at Impact Field in Rosemont on Saturday.

The DockHounds got on the scoreboard quickly with a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning. They went on to add two more runs in the top of the second to make the score 5-0. The offensive attack from Lake Country didn’t stop there, as a sacrifice fly drove home another run in the top of the third.

The Dogs answered in the bottom of the third inning. Daniel Harris got Chicago on the board with a solo home run. He was followed by Gio DiGiacomo, who hit a two-run home run. Jacob Maiben completed Chicago’s five-run third inning with a two-run shot of his own to make the score 6-5.
