Two Mundelein residents to join arts commission

Two Mundelein residents are expected to be appointed to the Mundelein Arts Commission during Monday night’s village board meeting.

Bradley Floden and Mary Ellen Casey are up for the honors.

The arts commission promotes visual and performance art in the community. It has sponsored the installation of public art in Mundelein, including murals and sculptures, and it holds an annual art exhibition called Lure of the Local.

Monday’s board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle. It will be livestreamed at mundelein.org.
