History’s likely verdict

As the Obama Center opens, we think about the agreement his administration had with Iran. You may recall, Trump “tore up” this agreement in his 1st term, so Iran restarted its nuclear efforts. Now, we have a war to prevent what the Obama agreement prevented, and now a “Memorandum of Understanding” to hopefully end it.

Trump's 60-day “talks” with Iran have two chances that it will be as good or better than the Obama agreement — slim and none.

History will prove that this war was unnecessary except to serve the egos of Trump and Hegseth.
