Huntley American Legion hosts 10th annual Vet Fest to support veterans programs

Join a community united by respect and help make a difference at the 10th annual Vet Fest on Saturday, June 20, in Huntley.

The Huntley American Legion Charitable Foundation invites you to a one-day celebration dedicated to our nation’s heroes.

The concert will be 3 to 11 p.m. at Huntley American Legion, 11712 W. Coral St.

While admission is free, every donation helps provide critical funding for organizations such as Operation Comfort Warrior, the USO, and the Be the One Program.

The Blooze Brothers will perform your favorite rhythm & blues, blues, and soul classics from 4 to 6 p.m.

Bucket Number 6 mixes the classics from the 1970s and ’80s with the popular anthems from the 1990s and 2000s from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The festival wraps up from 9 to 11 p.m. with LP Vinyl performing classic rock.

There will be food and drink from Rosati’s, Sons of the American Legion, and Huntley’s Tacos Locos. There will be activities for kids from 3 to 6 p.m.
