Various erosions threaten our country
We are very concerned about some of the erosion we are seeing in the three branches of our federal government.
- Erosion in the independent balance of power between the three branches.
- Erosion of trust in what the Executive branch says and does.
- Erosion of the Judicial branch to follow the Constitution and rule of law.
- Erosion of the Legislative branch to challenge decisions of the Executive and Judicial branches.
- Erosion of public support programs to help those who need them.
- Erosion of environmental protections and natural resources.
It is our hope that the federal government work for the people of this country and not for partisan desires and deals. We’re concerned that the people of this country are losing their input to the leaders whom we elected.
Our only response to these concerns seems to be voicing our concerns in writing and in protest marches as well as voting in all elections for the leaders who we feel we can trust and who will listen to us and not just follow their party objectives.
