Wolves giving Chicago fans something to cheer

Congratulations to the Chicago Wolves hockey team with their 36-21-8 record and berth in the Calder Cup finals. A large measure of credit goes to coach Spiros Anastas who seems to have the right stuff to coach and motivate the players he’s dealt.

Like many fans my patience is worn to a thread with Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson — the once proud Hawks are stumbling around in their sixth year of a rebuild and could only muster a 29-39 record this past season. Seems to me a no-brainer for the Hawks to get out the broom and clean house at the top.
