Where is property tax relief for residents?

The unmentioned story in the Bears Stadium fiasco is that property taxes in Illinois are just too high!

The cash cow, billionaire Bears say they can’t afford to pay. What about the ordinary citizens? Our property taxes have outpaced inflation for decades! I wish we could demand a 40 year tax freeze to enable the “tax certainty” the Bears demand.

Our legislators need to do more to lower taxes for individuals and corporations. Based on their financial failures in the past, I’m not holding my breath.
