Prospect Heights Park District to host meeting on Country Gardens Park improvement

The Prospect Heights Park District invites residents and stakeholders to attend a community meeting regarding the Country Gardens Park improvement project on at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25 at the park at 901 N. Schoenbeck Road.

The project, which received funding through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources' Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development Grant Program, is moving into the next phase of planning.

The park district is hosting the meeting to provide project updates, present the proposed improvements and gather community feedback before final plans are completed.

The proposed improvements include accessible pathways, playground enhancements, site amenities, landscaping and other features identified through the planning process.
