Fans and Bears profits

When all is said and done, you can't blame Bears management for being shrewd, if manipulative, businesspeople. But you can point fingers at them for taking advantage of a gullible fan base that for generations has supported the local heroes regardless of their record. So, ultimately, when the dust settles and the blue and orange finally escapes Soldier Field, it's the public who'll be paying a heavy price and not the McCaskey family, who can't possibly count all of the profits fast enough.
