Racial separatism

Since the Supreme Court ruled that existing racial gerrymandering is not legal and should be stopped, that decision has been broadly condemned by those who benefited from racial gerrymandering and victimizing minorities. What is the difference between drawing political districts to make sure that minority races are concentrated together for voting power and drawing school districts to do the same thing? The racial gerrymandering decision is consistent with the ruling in 1954 Brown v. Board of Education, which ended racial segregation in education. It doesn’t matter that the racial gerrymandering is self-imposed. To those who think it is OK to separate races for voting power, do you think it would be acceptable to separate races again for hotel accommodations, restaurant access, public washrooms and drinking fountains? Of course not.
