Not a good look

While some participants in the Jan. 6 riots at the Capitol may have been unfairly arrested and sentenced, I do believe that the Republicans in Congress are wise to consider rejecting Trump’s proposed compensation fund proposal. If any were unfairly charged and convicted, Trump could merely pardon them. If others were burdened with legal expenses, perhaps some sort of tax credit could help ease the expense. The main point is that bad behavior should not be accepted or condoned and the proposed compensation fund has that appearance.
