Dogs beat Milwaukee
The Chicago Dogs beat the Milwaukee Milkmen 5-2 on Tuesday.
Regi Grace Jr. tossed seven innings, allowing just two runs on eight hits and no walks. Keoni Cavaco followed with two thirds of an inning and Jacob DeLabio earning a four-out save.
Offensively, the Dogs struck in the third inning when Gio DiGiacomo had a two-run single. Tyreque Reed added insurance in the fifth inning with a two-run homer for a 4-0 lead. Jaxx Groshans added a solo shot.
