Santana tribute band to kick off Hanover Township Summer Concert Series June 11

Hanover Township’s free Summer Concert Series will kick off at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 11 at the Izaak Walton Reserve outdoor amphitheater at 899 Jay Street in Elgin with a performance by Fuze Band.

A Santana tribute band, the group is also known for their classic rock and Salsa vibe.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting youth programming.

Da Pizza Company Food Truck will also be on-site for attendees to purchase slices or whole pizzas for the show.

Limited parking is available. Off-site parking is available at Huff Elementary School at 801 Hastings Street in Elgin.

The concert series continues July 16 with a performance by Rosie & The Rivets, performing the best music of the 1950s and ‘60s, and on Aug. 13 with Big Brothers Vinyl, a high energy combination of rock and blues featuring dual guitar-driven classics from the ‘60s and beyond.
