Kane County to discuss new transit law

The Kane County Board will hold a special committee of the whole meeting on Thursday, June 4, to discuss the newly enacted Northern Illinois Transit Authority Act, which changes regional transit governance and funding.

The meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Kane County Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave. (Route 31), Geneva.

It will also be streamed on the county’s YouTube channel.
