St. Charles doubles Unwind Wednesday summer concert series
The St. Charles Business Alliance recently announced the second season of Unwind Wednesday, presented by Theriault Booth LLC. Attorneys at Law.
This year, Unwind Wednesday will take place on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from June through August from 6 to 8:30 p.m. This event invites individuals to enjoy live music and alcoholic beverages on the 1st Street Plaza during this series of community events.
The 2026 Unwind Wednesday performances are as follows:
• June 10 — She’s Wearing Plaid
• June 24 — Tim Gleason and Carly Logan
• July 8 — 13 Days
• July 22 — Gregory Hyde Duo
• Aug. 12 — Big Al Wetzel Trio
• Aug. 26 — Grant Milliren and Chandler Claps
Patrons, age 21 or older who wish to have an alcoholic beverage during Unwind Wednesday must purchase their drink from one of the five nearby businesses on the 1st Street Plaza.
The five local businesses are: Alter Brewing + Kitchen, Gia Mia, La Mesa Modern Mexican, La Za’Za’ Trattoria and McNally’s Irish Pub.
To participate, patrons must stop by one of the above venues and present valid identification to receive a wristband. Once a wristband is received, individuals will then be able to purchase a beverage that they can enjoy on the 1st Street Plaza while listening to a local artist from 6 to 8 p.m.

“Following the success of the Unwind Wednesday’s last season, we’re excited to double the number of dates this summer,” Sawicki said. “Expanding the series gives patrons even more opportunities to enjoy the 1st Street Plaza, downtown St. Charles, and the wonderful nearby local businesses.”
All beverages and attendees must remain within the designated event boundaries on the plaza. While Unwind Wednesday is open to all ages, only guests 21 or older may consume alcohol. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted, and underage drinking will be strictly enforced by on-site security. Please remember to drink responsibly.
