Cary-Grove High students awarded chamber scholarships
The Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce awarded two $2,000 scholarships to students at Cary-Grove High School.
The awards are intended to encourage area students to pursue college interests that might impact local business. Over the years, the chamber has given away more than $70,000 in scholarship awards to local high school students.
The chamber is proud to make this investment in our local youth who may someday become future business professionals and owners right in our community. They specifically look for students that may want to bring their skills back to the Cary-Grove area.
The class of 2026 high school recipients each received a $2,000 scholarship for college. The scholarships were awarded to Angel Apaez and Aria Stanton.
Angel will be attending the Illinois State University and plans to study education or criminal justice. Aria also will be attending Illinois State University and majoring in business administration.
Angel and Aria were extremely involved during their four years at Cary-Grove High School, at both their school and within the community.
