A matter of conscience

In response to Len Ziehm’s opinion piece on June 8 (“If LIV-PGA merger brings peace”), Mr. Ziehm must subscribe to the Gordon Gekko ideology of “Greed is good..”

He has, I’m sure unexpectedly, given us a great example of “sport washing,” a term that he really does not want to hear anymore. This kind of opinion is exactly what the Saudis were hoping for.

Kudos to Mr. Ziehm. He references a simple question to golfer Dustin Johnson. I also have a question for Len Ziehm and Dustin Johnson if they are familiar with the quote from the movie “The Treasure of the Sierra Madre”: “Conscience. What a thing. If you believe you got a conscience, it’ll pester you to death. But if you don’t believe you got one, what could it do t’ya?”
