Nobody injured when car hits building in Rolling Meadows

Nobody was injured when a car hit a building in Rolling Meadows Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

Officers responded just after 3 p.m. to a business in a strip mall on the 3200 block of Kirchoff Road, according to a news release from the Rolling Meadows Police Department.

The initial investigation determined an elderly driver struck the front plate glass window of a business in the strip mall. Neither the driver of the car nor the people inside the business were injured. No surrounding businesses were affected by the crash, the release stated.

An investigation of the crash is being conducted by the Rolling Meadows Police Department. No charges been filed as Wednesday evening.
