Free ice cream social and car show at Shepherd of the Prairie

Start your summer cool and attend the free ice cream social and car show on Friday, June 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main St. in Huntley.

Enjoy an evening full of classic cars, games, music, fun, and free ice cream. Admire the amazing display of vehicles from across the community or bring your own classic to display.

Want to get involved? Volunteering with others makes light work for everyone involved.

“Gather your family, invite your friends, and attend a night designed for the young and the young at heart,” said Jill Gillming, director of children and family ministry. “This free event is open to members and non-members of Shepherd of the Prairie. Everyone is welcome to attend this community event. Enjoy free ice cream while supplies last, along with great music, exciting games, and an amazing display of vehicles from across the community.”

Have a special car? Bring your car to show with free registration and arrive between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. before the fun begins.
