YWCA of Elgin to celebrate 125th anniversary with gala event Aug. 21

The YWCA of Elgin will host its 125th anniversary celebration gala and auction on Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, at Carmina’s Banquet in Elgin.

The event will include Mexican-inspired cuisine, scholarship and legacy awards, a wine bottle pull, gift wheel, playing card raffle, live auction and exclusive travel packages.

Tickets and sponsorships are currently available, and all proceeds raised at the celebration will go to YWCA programs. Early-bird reservations are available for $100 per reservation until June 30, with ticket prices at $125 starting July 1.
