Lake County seeks applicants for Pace suburban bus board of directors

Lake County is seeking a qualified resident to serve on the Pace suburban bus board of directors.

Pace operates throughout the county and partners with Lake County government for Ride Lake County, which provides transportation for seniors and people with disabilities.

The appointed person will represent Lake County at monthly meetings in Chicago regarding long-term planning, oversight, ensuring reliability and meeting community needs.

Candidates should have relevant experience and expertise overseeing planning, operation or funding a regional transportation system. The five-year term starts Sept. 1.
