Oak Brook offers summer camps, programs
The Oak Brook Park District is gearing up for a summer season filled with fun camp experiences, specialty recreation programs, and engaging activities designed for participants of all ages and abilities.
At the heart of the season is the park district’s diverse lineup of summer camps, offering opportunities for participants to stay active, build new skills, and explore a variety of interests in a safe and supportive environment.
Families can choose from a wide range of camp options, including sports camps, enrichment programs, and activity-based experiences designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, confidence, and active play throughout the summer.
Beyond traditional camps, the park district continues to expand its specialty recreation and enrichment programming. These programs provide participants with opportunities to discover new interests, develop skills, and engage with peers through hands on learning and recreation.
This summer’s youth programs feature:
• Sports clinics including basketball, soccer, ninja style obstacle training, and tae kwon do
• Creative arts and hands on programs such as jewelry making, cultural arts, and Future Artist classes
• Cultural enrichment opportunities including Japanese Art and Language Camp and Youth French Culture classes
• Music and movement classes designed to support early childhood development
• Inclusive special recreation opportunities offered in partnership with Gateway Special Recreation Association, ensuring accessible programming for individuals of all abilities
